PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Carlos Chiossone specializes in the development and financing of conventional and renewable energy projects, advising commercial and development banks on the financing of infrastructure projects, as well as various local and foreign clients on legal aspects of financial and energy transactions.

RELEVANT TRANSACTIONS
- Represented EVM Energía in connection with the project financing for the development, construction and operation of an 850MW combined cycle natural gas-fired power plant located in the State of Mexico, through the issuance and private placement of USD$469 million Senior Secured Notes, USD$125 million Term Facility Loan and USD$146 million Letter of Credit Facility.
- Provided advice in connection to a Mezzanine financing, through the issuance and private placement of USD$70 million Senior Secured Notes, to complete the funding for the development, construction and operation of an 850MW combined cycle natural gas-fired power plant located in the State of Mexico.
- Represented EVM Energía in connection with the project finance for the development, construction and operation of a 99MW combined-cycle natural gas-fired power plant located in the State of Mexico through the issuance and private placement of USD$80 million Senior Secured Notes and a USD$11 million Letter of Credit Facility.
- Represented a syndicate of commercial and development banks as senior lenders to subsidiaries of Enel Green Power for the development, construction, and operation of three solar projects in Mexico with an aggregate capacity of 1,088 MW.
- Represented Comexhidro in the sale of the ready to build wind farm Los Molinos, a 171 MW self-supply project in Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Thermion Energy.
