PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Tatiana Canales has experience advising national and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, merger clearances before the Federal Economic Competition Commission (Cofece), as well as advising development and commercial banks involved in financing infrastructure and energy projects.

RELEVANT TRANSACTIONS
- Has advised financial institutions and domestic and foreign companies in energy and infrastructure project financing, and in the acquisition and sale of projects in Mexico.
- Participated in the financing of EVM Energy projects for the development, construction and operation of a 99MW natural gas combined cycle power plant.
- Has advised clients regarding merger clearances before Cofece in connection with mergers and acquisitions transactions, especially in the real estate and banking and financial sectors.
- Has advised clients in obtaining a favorable opinion form the Cofece and the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) in cross participation, pursuant to the Hydrocarbons Law and the Federal Economic Competition Law.
- Has advised clients on internal audits and investigation procedures regarding antitrust practice before Cofece.
