Ernesto Talamás has vast experience representing both issuers and underwriters in public and private offerings of debt and equity corresponding to the real estate, finance, telecommunications, energy, technology and healthcare sectors.He worked as an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York (2018-2022), where he was part of the Latin America and Capital Markets practices. He is admitted to practice law both in Mexico and New York.

- Represented a Mexican bank in connection with its offering of USD$1.75 billion Senior Notes.
- Represented a Mexican real estate company in connection with its offering of USD$200 million shares and of USD$350 senior notes.
- Represented a Mexican airline in connection with its Chapter 11 reorganization.
- Represented the initial purchasers in connection with the offering by a Mexican mining company of USD$850 million Senior Notes, as well as its tender offer for its outstanding Senior Notes due 2023.
- Represented a Spanish bank in connection with its offerings of USD$2.15 billion Senior Preferred Notes and USD$1 billion Tier 1 Notes.
- Represented the underwriters in connection with the initial public offering offerings of companies in the healthcare and entertainment sectors.
- Represented a Guatemalan telecommunications company in connection with its offering of USD$900 million Senior Notes.
- Represented an American oil & gas company in connection with its offerings of USD$1.25 billion and USD$500 million Senior Notes.
- Represented a Chilean telecommunications company in connection with its offering of USD$500 million Senior Notes.
- Represented a Colombian oil & gas company in connection with its offerings of USD$350 million and USD$150 million Senior Notes, as well as its tender offer for its Senior Notes due 2024.
